Verse of the Day: “For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.”— 1 Timothy 2:5 (NKJV)
Verse of the Day: “For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.”1 Timothy 2:5 (NKJV)

This verse is a powerful reminder of both God’s sovereignty and Christ’s sacrifice.

“For there is one God…”There are not many paths to salvation, not many gods to choose from. There is only one true God — the Creator of heaven and earth, the One who holds all things together.
“…and one Mediator between God and men…”A mediator is someone who stands in the gap, bringing reconciliation between two sides. Humanity was separated from God because of sin, but Jesus stepped into the divide.
“…the Man Christ Jesus.”Fully God and fully man, Jesus became the bridge we could never build ourselves. On the cross, He carried our sin. Through His resurrection, He opened the way for us to have peace with God.

What This Means for Us

  • We don’t need to strive to earn God’s favor — Jesus has already made the way.

  • We don’t need another priest, ritual, or sacrifice — Christ is enough.

  • We can come boldly before God’s throne of grace, because Jesus intercedes for us (Hebrews 4:16).

Prayer: Father, thank You for sending Jesus, my Mediator and Savior. Thank You that I don’t need to carry the weight of separation anymore, because Christ has brought me near to You. Help me to live with confidence, knowing that He is enough. Amen.

Takeaway: There is only one way to the Father — and His name is Jesus. He is the Mediator, the Bridge, the Savior. And because of Him, you are never far from God’s love. ✝️❤️
